About

Here for the journey

Hello there beautiful people!

A 3am friend is a person you do life with, a person to share the crazy journey with. The one you share your hopes and dreams with; can’t wait to tell the embarrassing stories to; silent laugh and ugly cry with; send memes to; the one who knows when you’re in a bad mood just by looking at you. When you have a crisis at 3am, they would be the first number you would call.

Welcome to The 3am Friend, I hope that this blog will become a little like one of those friends. There for you when you need it, for whatever reason. I hope this will be the place you can come to for advice, useful tips, inspiration, a laugh and community.

You can read more about The 3am Friend concept here on my first ever blog post!

What made me start a blog

When I became a mother, I took to instagram to find some mums and dads that I could follow and learn from, to laugh with and to reassure myself that I am not the only one suffering from a lack of sleep. Here was my introduction to bloggers and the blogging community. Real people sharing their hearts, thoughts, frustrations and wins.

I also like writing, and the truth is if you want to get better at something you should do it a lot. A lot, a lot. Pair that with a random selection of interests and a desire to help people and The 3am Friend was born.

The 3am Friend is all about being there for people. And so, let’s get to know each other a bit…
